EQUINE ADENITIS
Formula:
Streptococcus equi bacterin, adjuvanted with aluminum hydroxide gel
Action:
Prevention of Equine Adenitis, or "glanders" or "distemper." Apply to equines older than 3 months.
Precautions:
Shake the container before use. Do not expose to sunlight. Store between 4 and 8°C. Do not break the cold chain. Do not freeze. Do not administer to febrile, parasitized, immunocompromised animals, or those under stress. In case of anaphylactic reaction, which may occasionally occur with the administration of biologicals, administer corticosteroids as symptomatic treatment.
Dosage and Administration:
Dose: 2 mL InoculationSubcutaneous or intramuscular Apply to equines older than 3 months of age. Primovaccinated:Apply a second dose 15 days after the first. Revaccinate annually with one dose. Pregnant mares: Revaccinate in the last month of pregnancy.
