Action:
Non-steroidal antiinflammatory for dogs and cats. Common indications include conjunctivitis, keratitis, keratoconjunctivitis, corneal ulcers, traumatic inflammation, and ocular pain.

Non-steroidal antiinflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) reduce protein release from uveal vessels mediated by prostaglandins, diminishing the presence of antibodies that contribute to immunological and fibrin reactions causing synechiae. They also reduce inflammation-mediated miosis. Recommended when the use of corticosteroids is not advisable.
