TACROLIMUS
Formula:
Each 10 ml contains:
- Tacrolimus monohydrate 3.07 mg
- Excipients q.s.p. 10 ml

Indication:
Powerful and immediate immunomodulatory action.
Indicated for the treatment of immune-mediated ocular conditions with corneal and/or conjunctival lymphocyte and plasma cell infiltration, such as: Keratoconjunctivitis sicca (dry eye syndrome), Chronic superficial keratitis, Nodular and necrotizing episcleritis in dogs and cats.
Acts as a lacrimal stimulant by reducing the immune response in autoimmune inflammation of the lacrimal gland, restoring natural tear production.
Dosage and Administration:
Ready-to-use ophthalmic solution. Apply 1 drop every 12 hours (2 drops/day) for the period prescribed by the veterinarian, typically 15 to 30 days.
Its immediate action and excellent penetration into the cornea and conjunctiva ensure a potent immunomodulatory and antiinflammatory response, providing relief and improving quality of life. Treatment duration may be adjusted at the discretion of the attending veterinarian.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to the active ingredient. Active ocular infections.
