Injectable Solution

Action:
A professional-use local anesthetic and analgesic for infiltration anesthesia, nerve conduction block, regional anesthesia, epidural anesthesia, and topical anesthesia.

Dosage and Administration:
The dose is determined by the attending veterinarian based on the area to be anesthetized, tissue vascularization, neural number and segment to be blocked, individual tolerance, and anesthesia techniques.

Equines and Bovines:
Epidural Anesthesia: 5 to 10 ml (100 to 200 mg)
Nerve Block: Example: 10 to 20 ml for maxillary nerve block; lower amounts may be required for other nerves

Contraindications: Should not be administered intravenously for cardiac arrhythmia control. Contraindicated in patients with cardiac disorders, shock, hypovolemia, respiratory insufficiency, liver failure, or sensitivity to local anesthetics.
