Action:
Purified protein derivative (PPD) from Mycobacterium bovis strain An5 cultures, corresponding to 32,500 IU: 1 mg, PPD diluent csp 1 ml.
Indications:
For use in bovines, ovines, caprines, porcines, cervids, and camelids.
Dosage and Administration:
Injection: Intradermal
Dose: 0.1 ml
It is applied intradermal and is read at 72 hours (plus / minus 6 hours) in cattle, sheep and goats. In pigs the reading is done at 48 hours after the application.
The positive reaction is found by local inflammation with induration and erythema. A caliber should be used to measure reactions.
