PAULVAC CARBUNCLE
Formula:
Contains live spores of Bacillus anthracis strain Sterne (attenuated live strain).
Action:
Vaccine designed for bovines, equines, porcine, and ovines. Attenuated live vaccine for the prevention of bacterial anthrax.
Dosage and Administration:
Bovines and Equines: 2 ml subcutaneously Porcines and Ovines: 1 ml subcutaneously
Vaccinate animals older than 3 months.
Annual revaccination.
In areas with a high incidence of the disease and highly virulent strains, revaccinate every 6 months. Use under strict veterinary supervision.
Precautions:
Do not apply to parasitized or febrile animals, or those in stressful situations. Do not administer before or after the use of antibiotics. Local reaction at the application site may occur. In case of an anaphylactic reaction, the use of epinephrine is recommended.
Pre-slaughter restriction period: 21 days.
Not recommended for use in pregnant females.
Do not store vials with leftover vaccine. It is recommended to sterilize, disinfect, or incinerate equipment used in vaccination.
