
COAGULANTE PAUL
Formula:
- Oxalic acid 1,200 g
- Succinic acid 0.300 g Malic acid 0.300 g
- Sodium menadione bisulfite 0.300 g
- Lidocaine hydrochloride 0.300 g
Presentation: 10 mL and 50 ml
Action:
Hemostatic. Indicated as both prophylactic and therapeutic in surgical interventions. Lateral or bilateral epistaxis, hemoptysis, hematemesis, metrorrhagia, postpartum, surgical, and traumatic hemorrhages. Hemorrhagic enteritis.
Dosage and Administration:
Based on the severity of the case and the veterinarian's recommendation, administer 3-6 mg of sodium menadione bisulfite per 10 kg every 24 hours.
Approximate dosing for each species:
Equines and Bovines: 10 ml Caprine, ovine and porcine: 2-5 ml
Felines and canines: 1-2 ml. Route of administration: Intramuscular
Administer every 12 to 24 hours for 3 to 5 days, or until coagulation time returns to normal. If symptoms persist, consult with the veterinarian to review the treatment plan.
For external wounds: Apply Coagulante Paul on a gauze or cotton dressing.
